Democratising Fashion

As a fashion forward, dynamic entity, Max Fashion’s goal has always been clear: seek out talent and provide it a platform to grow. The popular Max Elite Model Look contest seeks to tap modelling talent across the country with initial rounds being held in small towns. It provides the perfect opportunity for scores of talented youngsters in far flung areas to realise their dreams. The other popular event that Max Fashion hosts is the Max Design Awards which provides a platform for budding fashion designers to test their skills and interact with the top names in the industry. Several winners have found a footing in the industry, thanks to the helping hand extended by Max Fashion...

With 10 years of successful operations in India, stores covering a retail space of 4.3 million square feet, and a customer base exceeding over 10 million - Max Fashion has truly scaled the heights! But the company does not believe in resting on its laurels, and so was born the dynamic give-back plan: that of democratising fashion!

The aim is to bring together aspiring designers and models from across the country, and established influencers onto one platform. A natural fallout was the rapid evolving of a digital fashion ecosystem, one that increases engagement and creates awareness in a wide expanse of audiences. As an arm of this digital initiative, the Max Fashion app which was launched just 7 months ago, has notched up a user base of 8 lakh – reaching out to consumers across the country and giving them a one-click access to new merchandise, latest trends, style tips and more.

No more is fashion limited to being an ‘upperclass, big city phenomenon’, for just the select few. The three pillars that the company has been working on to achieve this goal are the Max Design Awards (MDA), the Max Elite Model Look India contest and a thriving and evolving Influencer Marketing programme.

Now in its 4th year, the Max Design Awards (MDA) is a platform for young designers to showcase their skills; it gives them a chance to experiment with their creativity on ground even as they brush up on the academics in college. Check the stats to know how successful the venture has been: MDA has made inroads into 60 colleges in 20 cities and seen over 1,500 online participants!

The other venture, Max EML India, too has been a runaway success by reaching over 12.5 million modeling aspirants in over 7 cities, with the EML website helping models register and gain information easily. From Arya Bendkhale in Pune to Mustafa DG in Hyderabad – the winners have underlined the emphasis on an all-inclusive creative platform.

The young talent is given another fillip. By partnering with influencers and experts who help the youngsters hone their talent and curate on-fleek looks, Max Fashion takes service to another level. Finally, by creating a diverse community of bloggers, designers, editors, stylists and models, Max Fashion has brought about a holistic revolution in democratising fashion.

Indeed at Max Fashion it’s fashion for all!
